What is this relay race?

This race will be run by 4 runners. The 50K route is divided into 4 sections. And these sections will be run by runners one by one to finish the race in the stipulated cut-off time.

What is the race start time?

50 km Relay Race will start at day break of 21th December 2019 (approx 7:05 am)

HOW IS THE ROUTE DIVIDED?

The 50K route is divided into 4 sections. These sections will be of different distances and difficulties (trails / elevation/ flat). Each of the 4 runners will have a different route to run and thereby have different enriching experiences.

What is the cut off time ?

The cut-off times is 10 hours for the entire 50 k

HOW WILL THE ROUTE BE ASSIGNED TO THE TEAM?

We will announce route details in advance (for a change!!). This will include the distance and the elevation chart for each section. The team can define which runner want to run which section. The team needs to declare which runner will run which section latest by the expo day.

WHAT IS THE FEES OF THIS RACE AND WHAT DOES IT COVER?

The fees of this race is 8000 INR for the whole team. So, per runner it will be 2000 INR. This is inclusive of GST. All runners of the team will get race kit, facilities on the route, medal and certificate. This does not cover accommodation and transportation.

WHAT IS THE TERRAIN LIKELY TO BE LIKE?

It will be a fusion route which would have trail with dirt road, broken village roads and some asphalt road.

Registration Policies

Following is the procedure to register for the relay event.

Every runner of the team shall register individually.
While registraiton, choose "50 KM - 8 Legged Race" as race category.
On the registration page there is input for "TEAM NAME". Please give a name to your team!!! Enter that Team Name in this field. All four runners of your team shall give the same name here while registering. This will allow us to identify as to which four are making a particular team.
If in case you do not have team, but want to run this particular relay race; you can write No Choice in the "TEAM NAME" section. We will pick four such consecutive runners who do not have team and make one team for you. Please note that in such case, you will not be given a choice! In case we have less than 4 individual runner left at the end of the registration process, we will refund the fees to these runners.
At the end of your registration process, you will see fees as 2000 INR. This are individual runner fees which EACH runner needs to pay to complete his / her registration
If any of team member has not paid the feeds of his registration, the team will not be formed and the paid runner will be considered as individual runner to join other individual runner to make the team.
If two team gives the same name, we will call the team who has registered later and ask them to change the name of their team.
